By cutting the baffles off of your intake tube you speed up the air going into your throttle body. There is two designs of this intake tube. Both have the baffle closest to the TB but only the newer ones have the filter side formed into the tube. The older type tube you can remove the filter side and replace it with a spray paint can top. We used a hacksaw and cut both baffles off. Then we used tape to cover and seal the holes. You want to make sure you seal the hole4 very good because you do not want any air leaking through them. You might have access to other ways to cover these holes. After the mod we was able to tell a difference in both the way our truck sound and how it ran. If you don't mind how ugly it is this is a great FREE mod.
